To prevent unwanted urban sprawl and unregulated development, it is most important that Pima County encourage and retain viable ranches. Ranching is a significant land use that has served to protect our natural open space, and it continues to be an important traditional industry that has shaped the rural landscape.
A long-range plan for travel and mobility in Gilbert, Arizona, designed to implement the 2011 Town General Plan's vision to provide mobility and access in a way that is safe and convenient, while minimizing congestion, air pollution and noise.
A statement of the community vision for the 525-square-mile Flagstaff Metropolitan Planning Organization (FMPO) area, which extends west-to-east from Bellemont to Winona, and south-to-north from Kachina Village/Mountainaire to north of the San Francisco Peaks. It is the general plan for the City of Flagstaff, and in county areas, works in conjunction with the Coconino County Comprehensive Plan.
The focus of this sub-regional study is the roadway system in an area of southern Navajo and Apache Counties bounded by the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside in the south, the Town of Snowflake in the north, Pulp Mill Road to the west, and the Concho area in Apache County to the east.
This floodplain study was prepared to identify the extent and magnitude of flooding within the boundary of the park under existing conditions. The results of the analysis and the associated hydrologic/hydraulic model will serve as the base condition model for all future developments to aid in the planning and design process.
This report is being submitted for the purpose of reducing the erosion setback limits. The information contained herein supports the claim that a safe reduction in the setback distance can occur.
Millstone Manor #6 is a subdivision that was recorded in the mid-1950's. All records indicate no engineering took place with regards to potential for drainage improvements. This report will address what the natural floodprone areas are and will recommend how future permits should be processed.
The Sutherland Valley is a broad, geologically-controlled floodplain. This study attempts to quantify the depth and extent of flooding so that floodplain permits can be issued for development which meets local and federal restrictions.
This report describes the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. Development in the lower end of the watershed has occurred without knowledge of the floodplain's characteristics.
This parcel has some houses already constructed, but most of the area is left undeveloped and can be classified as desert foothills. The objective of this report is to determine all of the flows generated by a 100-year storm in excess of 100 cfs and then map the flood-prone boundaries for the associated channels.
