Handwritten letter from Rubén Darío to Pedro Balmaceda Toro. Pedro Balmaceda Toro (April 23, 1868 - July 1, 1889) was a Chilean writer and journalist. Toro is considered one of the pioneers of Modernism in Latin America. Rubén Darío was in Valparaíso when the letter was written.
