Arizona State and Local Government Documents Collection
The State and Local Arizona Documents (SALAD) collection contains documents published by the State of Arizona, its Counties, incorporated Cities or Towns, or affiliated Councils of Government; documents produced under the auspices of a state or local agency, board, commission or department, including reports made to these units; and Salt River Project, a licensed municipality. ASU is a primary collector of state publications and makes a concerted effort to acquire and catalog most materials published by state and local governmental agencies.
The ASU Digital Repository provides access to digital SALAD publications, however the ASU Libraries’ non-digitized Arizona documents can be searched through the ASU Libraries Catalog. For additional assistance, Ask A Government Documents Librarian.

The Adult Probation Department Annual Reports illustrate the Department’s ongoing commitment to enhance public safety and promote positive behavior change from individuals under its supervision. During the year, significant steps are taken in their continuing initiative to fully integrate evidence-based practices into the organizational culture.
Grace Neal Parkway and Bank Street are located in the northern Kingman area partially outside of the Kingman city limits. This report discusses of creating a new arterial roadway providing safety and convenience for vehicular traffic and pedestrians. Although Grace Neal is referred to as a parkway, its designation for design is arterial.
FY 2010 is the first annual report issued under the new structure of Indigent Defense in Mohave County. One of the major changes is that all expenditures related to every criminal case are now allocated to the agency which was assigned the representation of the case.
Report was compiled using actual caseloads in each of the three alternative providers adjusted for a common weighting factor. This weighting factor is the same weighting factor utilized in establishing staffing requirements and is predicated on American Bar Association and National Legal Aid and Defender Association standards.
This study is intended to assess flood risk, and identify flood hazards based on those risks, for the Beaver Dam area from the Beaver Dam Wash. The hydrologic and hydraulic results are intended for risk assessment and emergency management purposes only. The results of this study should not be considered as “best available technical information” for floodplain management purposes.”
The purpose of the Flood Response Plan is to reduce the potential for property damage and loss of life resulting from floods on the Beaver Dam Wash at the community of Beaver Dam. This report is intentionally short and concise to make it easily usable during a flood emergency.
Activities Report for the justice and law enforcement entities of Maricopa County. Each department provides information to communicate the magnitude of their contribution to the county justice system.
The Planning Assistance for Rural Areas program is sponsored by the Arizona Department of Transportation Multimodal Planning Division, and provides federal funds for the purpose of conducting transportation planning studies. Lake Havasu City first participated in another ADOT program for local governments, the Small Area Transportation Study program, in 1991. Under the SATS program the Lake Havasu City government successfully developed a citywide roadway plan, and then took part in the SATS program to update the plan in 1997 and 2005. The PARA program is flexible and allows for studies of neighborhoods or sub-areas within jurisdictions. The subarea program provision made it possible for the City to apply for and receive PARA funding for the North Havasu Study Area.
In October 2009, the San Carlos Apache Tribe completed an update to their Long-Range Transportation Plan. One of the recommendations from the LRTP was for the Tribe to conduct an extensive transit feasibility study to evaluate the existing services and identify improvement opportunities. In addition, the Tribe is seeking support in preparing the required documentation to assist in the development of Federal and State transit funding grants. The San Carlos Apache Transit Services applied for, and received funding from the ADOT Multimodal Planning Division to conduct the Transit Feasibility Study. This Five-year Implementation Plan represents the second phase of the Study.

The San Carlos Apache Transit Services applied for, and received Planning Assistance for Rural Areas program funding from the Arizona Department of Transportation Multimodal Planning Division to conduct the Transit Feasibility Study. The study consists of two separate phases: The first phase focuses on the feasibility of expanding and enhancing the San Carlos Apache Transit Services operation, and the second phase is the development of a five-year plan for implementing the recommended enhancements and service expansion. This is the Final Report for the first phase of the study.
