The State and Local Arizona Documents (SALAD) collection contains documents published by the State of Arizona, its Counties, incorporated Cities or Towns, or affiliated Councils of Government; documents produced under the auspices of a state or local agency, board, commission or department, including reports made to these units; and Salt River Project, a licensed municipality. ASU is a primary collector of state publications and makes a concerted effort to acquire and catalog most materials published by state and local governmental agencies.

The ASU Digital Repository provides access to digital SALAD publications, however the ASU Libraries’ non-digitized Arizona documents can be searched through the ASU Libraries Catalog. For additional assistance, Ask A Government Documents Librarian.

Publications issued by the Morrison Institute for Public Programs at Arizona State University are also available in PRISM, in the Morrison Institute for Public Policy - Publications Archive collection.

We are pleased to present a first draft of a Five-Year Strategic Transit Plan for input and review. Your comments and suggestions on the Plan will ensure that transit meets the travel and mobility needs of the Tucson area. Once you have provided your input we will make revisions and issue a final Five-Year Transit Strategic Plan. The Transit Task Force sees this plan as a working document which provides a framework for monitoring the progress of transit in our community. The Plan does not directly answer all your questions or address all of your concerns, but it does outline additional tasks needing to be completed to do so. Thus the Transit Task Force requests that it be given permanent status to ensure continuity in the transit planning and review process, and enabling it to further develop policies identified in the Plan as needing more work.

The intent of the Diablo Canyon Rural Planning Area is to identify a range of economic opportunities that would be compatible with maintaining traditional ranch operations on the Flying M and Bar T Bar. To be sure, some of the options identified in this plan are very different from traditional ranch practices, but they are intended to help support the existing ranches economically while keeping the ranches intact and operating into the next generation and beyond.

As the principal gateway to the Grand Canyon, the community of Tusayan plays an important role in the provision of goods, services, and information to tourists and visitors. The study area extends three miles north to the Grand Canyon National Park boundary, and four miles south of the existing community and five miles on either side of Highway 64. The plan has no established time period. The last Tusayan plan, the South Grand Canyon Specific Area Study, was adopted by the Board in 1978. Ideally, this plan will be updated and amended regularly.
