For the class of 2009, 76% of Maricopa County high school graduates were college-ready in English and approximately 46% were college ready in Mathematics.

The report focuses specifically on American Indian and Latino/a community members, given their disproportionate risk of experiencing detrimental impacts of extreme heat and overlapping risk factors for negative outcomes of COVID-19.
