The evaluation cannot be restricted to examining financial resources, but has to include at least the basic benefit performances of health schemes (plans). The main countries to be examined here are France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and—despite the fact that it is not an EU member—Switzerland."

I will argue that traditional values in family practice still offer us the opportunity to meet and focus on the modern needs of individuals and communities rather than on the needs of the health care industry.”
