In "Roadmap to Arizona's Economic Recovery," a general fund revenue forecast is presented which includes proposed changes to the revenue system. If the proposed changes are backed out of these figures, the baseline forecast can be obtained. This addendum provides detail on the Roadmap's revenue projection. the three key points are: 1) Arizona's economy is highly cyclical, growing much faster than the nation during economic expansions; 2) Revenues everywhere, but especially in Arizona, given its revenue structure, are much more cyclical than the overall economy; 3) the revenue forecast in the Roadmap is actually conservative. Revenues relative to the size of the economy remain below the historical norm, even in fiscal year 2015.

To help commemorate Arizona’s centennial on February 14, 2012, a centennial project was begun to inventory and promote the protection of historic cemeteries throughout the state. Historic cemeteries were chosen as the focus of a centennial project because they are important irreplaceable resources many of which are in danger of being lost through neglect, natural erosion, and vandalism. As the Arizona Centennial approached, it seemed appropriate that an organized statewide effort be undertaken to locate, inventory and provide guidance for the conservation and maintenance of these significant properties.

Concern has been expressed that mesquite bosques are disappearing or diminishing in quality, and that the survival of the mesquite mouse is consequently threatened. This study, funded by a grant from the Arizona Heritage Fund to the Pima County Regional Flood Control District, investigated the current distribution of the mesquite mouse by reviewing historical records from museum specimens, examining existing potential habitat at historic locations of the species and elsewhere in the county, and conducting a live-trapping study at 19 sites representing a range of ecological communities with mesquite as a major component.
