This discussion and analysis is designed to 1) assist the reader in focusing on significant financial issues, 2) provide an overview of the City’s financial activities, 3) identify changes in the City’s financial position, 4) identify any material deviations from the financial plan (the approved annual budget), and 5) identify individual fund issues and concerns.
The State of the System Report is a compilation of the physical inventory and status of the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s infrastructure. It addresses roadway congestion, traffic safety, low volume road paving, bridges, and pavement conditions. The Arizona Department of Transportation, through its Multimodal Planning and Communications divisions, collaborated with the town of Queen Creek to conduct a transportation study of the Germann Road corridor. The study, which is funded through the Planning Assistance for Rural Areas (PARA) program, was completed in July 2013.
This report examines how effectively Pima County’s natural open-space acquisitions have addressed priorities for conserving species’ habitats and landscape features identified in the Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan. The scope of this study is beyond the County's Multi-Species Conservation Plan, which is a subset of the overall Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan.
