Darío was in Madrid when the letter was written. Rodolfo Espinosa Ramírez (November 11, 1876 - December 1, 1944) was a Nicaraguan politician and diplomatic. Among other positions, Ramírez was Managua's Mayor and he also was Foreign Minister in the José Santos Zelaya's government.
