This report was commissioned by the City of Scottsdale and conducted by Behavior Research Center. The purpose of the study was to measure attitudes about the use of photo-based traffic enforcement statewide.
This inventory includes emissions of volatile organic compounds, nitrogen oxides, and carbon monoxide. Annual totals as well as typical ozone season-day (summer) emissions are provided for most source categories.
In 2011, Drachman Institute contracted with the Arizona Department of Housing to develop a public education project about sustainable communities and transit-oriented development along the Metro Light Rail in Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa, Arizona. The resulting reports present neighborhood analyses and transit-oriented development issues for eight light rail stations selected by the Arizona Department of Housing and the Sustainable Communities Working Group, providing base information on the square half mile area surrounding these sites.

On November 7, 2006, Arizona voters approved Proposition 201, the Smoke-Free Arizona Act, A.R.S. § 36-601.01 (the Act or the Law). The Law went into effect on May 1, 2007, prohibiting smoking inside and within 20 feet of entrances, open windows, and ventilation systems of most enclosed public places and places of employment, with a few exemptions.
The AARIN Juvenile Annual report summarizes comprehensive results from the core instrument for all juvenile male and female arrestees who participated and completed the AARIN interview. Chapters include information about recent and past drug use, contact with the criminal justice system, gang membership, firearm possession, victimization, citizenship, and demographic characteristics.
The Arizona Arrestee Reporting Information Network is a drug abuse monitoring system that provides on-going descriptive information about drug use, crime, victimization, and other characteristics of interest among individuals arrested in Maricopa County, Arizona. In five facilities throughout the county, professionally trained interviewers conduct voluntary and confidential interviews with recently booked arrestees. Questions focus on a range of topics including demographics, patterns of drug use (lifetime and recent), criminal activity, gang affiliation, victimization, mental health, citizenship, and treatment experiences. Each interviewee also provides a urine specimen that is tested for the presence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Santa Cruz County was awarded funding from the Arizona Department of Transportation Planning Assistance for Rural Areas program to prepare the Rio Rico Walking and Biking Study. The purpose of the Study is to enable Santa Cruz County to establish a program for the construction of bike lanes and sidewalks that are desired to provide safe and convenient pedestrian and bicycle access and connectivity to select Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No. 35 facilities as well as use for the general public for transportation and recreational purposes.
