The La Paz County Comprehensive Plan is the first overall plan for development countywide. Due to the passage of new state requirements and a desire to plan for the future, the La Paz County Board of Supervisors contracted with Partners for Strategic Action, Inc. to develop the county’s first comprehensive plan. The consulting team was directed to solicit broad community participation, study the county planning area, and develop a plan that would be an easy-to-understand policy document that will guide La Paz County’s development in the future.
The Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy focuses partnership efforts on conservation at the landscape level, to address stressors that constrain wildlife conservation and wildlife-related recreation opportunities. In addition to limiting the quality of human life in wildlife-rich Arizona, these stressors often limit wildlife-related contributions to our economy.

A valid fishing or combination license is required for resident and nonresident anglers 10 years of age or older fishing any public accessible water in Arizona. Youth under the age of 10 and blind residents do not need to purchase a state fishing license to fish in Arizona.
