The Arizona Department of Health Services/Division of Behavioral Health Services, Tribal/Regional Behavioral Health Authorities and contracted service providers jointly conduct statewide consumer satisfaction surveys requesting independent feedback from Title XIX/XXI adults and families of youth receiving services through Arizona's publicly funded behavioral health system.
The Division of Behavioral Health Services oversees the administration of four Regional Behavioral Health Authorities and Intergovernmental Agreements with five tribal entities. The Arizona State Hospital's mission is to restore and enhance the mental health of persons requiring specialized in-patient psychiatric services ins a safe, therapeutic environment.
The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is the State's Medicaid and KidsCare program offering the following behavioral health services: Title XIX (Medicaid) Acute and Long Term Care, Acute Care, Arizona Long Term Care Services (ALTCS), Federal Emergency Services Program (FESP), and Title XXI (KidsCare).
