A benchmark survey was conducted by MAG and ADOT in December of 2006 to determine initial attitudes and awareness of litter issues in Arizona and to evaluate littering behavior. A follow-up survey was then conducted in July 2008, at the end of the first two years of the campaign, to determine if any changes in awareness, attitudes or behavior were realized. Subsequent follow-up studies focused on Maricopa County residents.
This network operates in the National Weather Service ALERT (Automated Local Evaluation in Real Time) format and is commonly referred to as an ALERT system, which uses automatic telemetry gages for data collection.

Activities Report for the justice and law enforcement entities of Maricopa County. Each department provides information to communicate the magnitude of their contribution to the county justice system.
The AARIN Juvenile Annual report summarizes comprehensive results from the core instrument for all juvenile male and female arrestees who participated and completed the AARIN interview. Chapters include information about recent and past drug use, contact with the criminal justice system, gang membership, firearm possession, victimization, citizenship, and demographic characteristics.
The Arizona Arrestee Reporting Information Network is a drug abuse monitoring system that provides on-going descriptive information about drug use, crime, victimization, and other characteristics of interest among individuals arrested in Maricopa County, Arizona. In five facilities throughout the county, professionally trained interviewers conduct voluntary and confidential interviews with recently booked arrestees. Questions focus on a range of topics including demographics, patterns of drug use (lifetime and recent), criminal activity, gang affiliation, victimization, mental health, citizenship, and treatment experiences. Each interviewee also provides a urine specimen that is tested for the presence of alcohol and/or drugs.
The Administrative Division is responsible for procuring the insurance policies above the County's self-insured retention, providing certificates of insurance to County departments, preparing the annual user charges for services, preparing the annual budget and financial statements for the Trust, and providing administrative support to the other divisions within the department.
Internal Audit annually assesses and reports on Maricopa County's financial condition in a highly visual, user-friendly, annual Financial Condition Report. This report displays key financial ten-year trends and compares Maricopa's trends to 10 western U.S. counties' trend averages.
The Annual Report is produced to provide the Board of Supervisors, the Citizen's Audit Advisory Committee, County leadership, and the citizens with information about Internal Audit's performance, accomplishments, and results achieved during the fiscal year.
