The objective of this Technical Data Notebook is to provide 100-yr peak discharges at a Concentration Point for the Unnamed 02 and 03 Washes, 100-yr floodplain boundary and erosion hazard information, using the most up-to-date topographic, hydrologic, and hydraulic data. This is a local study and has not been submitted to FEMA.

This study is intended to assess flood risk, and identify flood hazards based on those risks, for the Beaver Dam area from the Beaver Dam Wash. The hydrologic and hydraulic results are intended for risk assessment and emergency management purposes only. The results of this study should not be considered as “best available technical information” for floodplain management purposes.”

Flooding and erosion within the Ranch Estates subdivision during the 2007 summer monsoon season raised the concerns of homeowners. This study addresses the impact of recent improvements in the drainage area upstream; provides updated flood-hazard mapping for the area, and identifies mitigation measures that could be implemented by the affected homeowners to address their flood/erosion hazards.

This Technical Data notebook has been prepared for a Letter of Map Revision application for a portion of the Roger Wash located in Pima County, Arizona. The objective of the TDN and LOMR submission is to provide regulatory discharge rates and floodplain limits along the Roger Wash using better topographic, hydrologic, and hydraulic data.
