Annual report on the Edward Byrne Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance Formula Grant Program activities. Many valuable and productive drug, gang and violent crime prevention activities are funded and conducted throughout Arizona by local towns, cities, counties and the State, operating as coordinated, partnership efforts with projects supported by Formula Drug Grant program funds. These Annual Reports provide summary information on projects receiving funds from the Formula Grant Program for the period beginning July 1 and ending June 30.
The Transit Programs and Grants group within the Multi-Modal Planning Division of the Arizona Department of Transportation is a ten member team that is responsible for administering Federal Transit Administration grants and programs that enhance mobility options in the non-urban areas of the State of Arizona. Transit has five main areas of focus: Rural Transit, Coordinated Mobility, Planning, Safety and Grant Administration.
The Arizona Juvenile Justice Commission, in conjunction with the Governor's Office for Children, Youth and Families, works to create conditions in Arizona's communities that promote juvenile justice and the positive development of youth, reduce youth-related problems, advocate for youth involvement in both the planning and implementation of projects, and increase collaboration among sectors in the community to address youth problems.
