The Concho Community Plan is an expression of how the residents of our community wish to see our community grow, develop and prosper. The entire region is experiencing rapid growth. Rather than allow this growth to be haphazard or of low quality, the Concho Community Plan sets forth guidelines to assist in planning for orderly growth that meets its needs and standards. The Concho Community Plan addresses the current and future elements that the community indicated were the most pressing. It also utilizes the various established deed restrictions and proposes to base the zoning districts on them, thereby eliminating many conflicts and enhancing enforcement.

The wild land/urban interface is a concern in Coconino County because of the potential for wild land fuels to ignite combustible structures and vice-versa. Destroying homes, property, and trees is just one way that wildfire harms an area. Wildfires can destroy habitat, soils, and forest health, disrupting economic stability, transportation corridors, recreation opportunities, water supplies, and scenery, as well as undermining a community’s emotional and spiritual well-being. Reducing the threat of catastrophic wildfire is a priority in the wild land/urban interface. This plan outlines actions needed to prepare and equip the greater Flagstaff community to live and thrive within our fire-adapted ponderosa pine forests.

The collaborative process for developing the Tusayan Community Wildfire Protection Plan began May 5, 2004 at a Tusayan/Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce Board meeting in Tusayan. A CWPP is developed to assist local fire districts, local governmental agencies and residents in the identification of lands—including federal lands—at risk from severe wildfire threat and to identify strategies for reducing fuels on wildlands while improving forest health, supporting local economies, and improving firefighting response capabilities.

The updated Chandler General Plan presents instructional guidance for coping with the consequences of approaching build-out. This document is not meant to be read from cover-to-cover in a single sitting. However, a user, whether a citizen appearing at a public hearing for the first time or a long-term City official, should become familiar with the Plan's content. A comprehensive planning view encourages the General Plan user to evaluate change on a Citywide basis, directing progress for the good of the community rather than special interests.

The South Arizona Avenue Entry Corridor Study is prompted by a Mayor and Council goal for redeveloping the section of Arizona Avenue from Pecos Road to Boston Street as a new entryway to downtown from the Santan/Loop 202 Freeway. The plan was created with extensive neighborhood participation,which included six neighborhood meetings and individual meetings with property owners.The comprehensive approach to this study can be broken down into four primary areas: Land Use,Traffic Circulation, Conceptual Design Standards, and Neighborhood Planning.

This is a step-by-step guide designed to aid caregivers in preparing an individualized plan to ensure the appropriate personal and daily care of their family member, in the event the caregiver is incapacitated. It is intended primarily for parents, siblings and other loved ones who are responsible for the care and fiduciary oversight of a family member with developmental disabilities. The term caregiver is used throughout the guide for ease in reading, and is not to be confused with fee-for-service caregivers who are paid to provide daily care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

To lessen the impact of an influenza pandemic, the State of Arizona has created this Influenza Pandemic Response Plan to promote an effective response throughout the pandemic. The plan was originally crafted in 2000, through a coordinated effort of the Arizona Department of Health Services, Arizona Division of Emergency Management, local health departments and other partners and stakeholders. It is also an annex to the Arizona State Emergency Response and Recovery Plan.
