Letter from Carl Hayden to W. W. Bass concerning the passing of the national park bill. Hayden states that he will try to make the bill as advantageous to Arizona miners and farmers as possible, but the land will either remain as a national monument or become a national park. A postscript is added concerning the land allocated for the Havasupai Tribe.
Mission: To regulate and support Arizona Agriculture in a manner that encourages farming, ranching and agribusiness, while protecting consumers and natural resources.

Provides recommendations that improve and enhance the inter-connectivity of trails and transit mobility in the City of Show Low and transit efficiency in the White Mountains, including the communities of Pinetop-Lakeside, Snowflake, Taylor, Holbrook and the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Upon its completion the study was further intended to update the City’s Five Year Transit Plan and the Trails Element of the Show Low General Plan.
The Short Range Transit Program identifies those regional transit service and capital improvements programmed in the Transit Life Cycle Program during the next five years and provides support for regional transit projects contained in the Maricopa Association of Governments Regional Transportation Plan.
The Flagstaff Regional Five-Year and Long Range Transit Plan proposes a long-term vision for Flagstaff’s regional public transportation system and identifies and establishes a short-, mid-, and long-term service plan; funding plan; and implementation plan.
The report provides a suite of recommended strategies to reduce single-occupant vehicle traffic in the urban areas of Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, which are presented as a travel demand management toolbox. The toolbox includes supporting research on how to deliver, monitor, and fund implementation of the strategies, and a framework for the development of performance measures to assess their effectiveness. The research effort included studies of travel behavior in Phoenix and Tucson, reviews of best-practice measures nationally, and those in use in Arizona today, and interviews with local and national TDM professionals.
To facilitate development of the Environmental Impact Statement which must accompany the Section 10 multi-species conservation proposal, a series of issue papers were prepared. In Pima County, ranching is uniquely able to preserve the integrity of vast tracts of connected and unfragmented open space and wildlife habitat. This study reviews the effect of five alternative permit strategies on the County's ability to preserve unfragmented landscapes through conserving ranch lands.
