During a fiscal year, employment sites are processed by the Trip Reduction Program. The TRP produces a detailed statistical summary report for each employment and student site. In addition, the TRP Task Force, along with the TRP staff, reviewed and approve Trip Reduction plans. The report tracks and analyzes the commuting habits of employees and students in Maricopa County.
The Arizona Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Lake Havasu City, conducted a long-range corridor study for Mesquite Avenue, McCulloch Boulevard, and Swanson Avenue (referred to in this document collectively as the Corridor). The study looked at ways to support and enhance this revitalization by developing a vision for the Corridor that balances the City’s Main Street Uptown District goals with the need to accommodate future travel demand along each road in the Corridor.
The Arizona Department of Transportation, the Arizona Game & Fish Department and the Arizona State Parks Board are required to conduct a study every three years on watercraft fuel consumption and recreational watercraft usage. The fuel consumption data is collected to determine the allocation of motor vehicle fuel tax to the State Lake Improvement Fund. The information on recreational watercraft usage patterns on Arizona’s lakes and rivers is necessary, in part, to determine the distribution of SLIF funds to applicants.

This report presents the results of a study of vehicle occupancy conducted in Phoenix, Arizona to determine what factors have the greatest influence on having persons travel together to make trips in private vehicles. Although the data were collected in the Phoenix metropolitan area for the purpose of refining the MAGTPO mode split model for vehicle trips, the conclusions reached in this study of vehicle occupancy are also intended to be checked against data from other metropolitan areas.
Valley Metro conducted a transit on-board survey between October 2010 and February 2011. The purpose of the survey was to better understand the travel pattern of transit users in the metropolitan Phoenix area, particularly the impact that light rail has had on regional travel patterns. The survey included nearly 100 bus routes and all light rail stations.
From Oct. 8 through Dec. 18, 2007, RPTA conducted an Origin and Destination survey of the Valley Metro riders. The objectives were to examine the demographics and travel behavior characteristics of Valley Metro riders.
