Letter from Grand Canyon Postmaster L. L. Ferrall to Carl Hayden regarding the proposed national park bill. Ferrall states that nearly all those who live in the canyon are against it as it gives a monopoly to the railway and hopes that the bill does not start "a war" for Arizona.
The Pima County Outside Agency program provides funding to non‐profit entities to serve economically and socially disadvantaged populations through social service programs. The Pima County Board of Supervisors establishes funding limits for the program and grants are awarded to agencies through a public committee process.
We need to look at what is management and how it has changed. What was once considered good practice in farming in some areas is no longer considered good practice because you are losing soil. The same thing is happening in ranching and as we look at the way range management has changed in the last 30 years, it is really dramatic in what the goals and objectives are of those people that are on the land is to stay on the land.
