The purpose of this guidebook is to serve as a reference tool to provide tribal governments and tribal planning departments assistance in understanding the transportation planning and programming processes and how to work with ADOT to receive positive benefits. Specifically, this guidebook discusses the ADOT statewide, regional and rural area transportation planning process.
The Arizona Department of Transportation, through its Multimodal Planning and Communications divisions, collaborated with the town of Queen Creek to conduct a transportation study of the Germann Road corridor. The study, which is funded through the Planning Assistance for Rural Areas (PARA) program, was completed in July 2013.
This report includes a preliminary description of water supplies that could possibly be acquired to meet water supply needs of the Arizona Water Banking Authority and the Central Arizona Project.
