Grace Neal Parkway and Bank Street are located in the northern Kingman area partially outside of the Kingman city limits. This report discusses of creating a new arterial roadway providing safety and convenience for vehicular traffic and pedestrians. Although Grace Neal is referred to as a parkway, its designation for design is arterial.
FY 2010 is the first annual report issued under the new structure of Indigent Defense in Mohave County. One of the major changes is that all expenditures related to every criminal case are now allocated to the agency which was assigned the representation of the case.
Report was compiled using actual caseloads in each of the three alternative providers adjusted for a common weighting factor. This weighting factor is the same weighting factor utilized in establishing staffing requirements and is predicated on American Bar Association and National Legal Aid and Defender Association standards.
This document reflects the visionary work of many dedicated and energetic judges and court staff who are committed to the goal of improving the delivery of justice in the county and state. Identified within the strategic plan are five fundamental issues the court will focus on during the next three to five years.
The courts in Mohave County have historically provided quality service in a fair, timely, consistent and professional manner. Enclosed within this report is a detail of the many accomplishments that were completed by the staff of the Superior Court, the Clerk of the Court, the Justice Courts, and the Adult and Juvenile Probation Departments.
A Target Industry Analysis provides the strategic framework for public policy by identifying those industries that share the demand for a similarly educated labor pool, supply chain or customer base. It’s a method utilized by economic development organizations to understand the market and align their limited resources in order to more effectively create jobs, brand, and market their community and region. This targeted industry analysis focuses on the southern portion of Mohave County, where the majority of the population and economic activity is concentrated. The three distinct regions analyzed for this study included Bullhead City/Laughlin, Kingman, and Lake Havasu City.
The purpose of this Community Health Profile is to provide a factual basis for informing community decision-‐making regarding health and quality of life issues in Mohave County. It is one part of an overall initiative to identify, prioritize, and address health needs to ultimately improve health and quality of life in Mohave County.
Public health preparedness has been both an opportunity and a challenge for our department. These challenges have created a lot of extra work for public health professionals but they have also created a better system. It has given public health the opportunity to educate the public about our role in protection every day and during emergencies.
The purpose of the Drainage Design Manual for Mohave County is to supplement the Mohave County Land Division Regulations by providing minimum requirements and guidelines for addressing storm water issues associated with new and existing development. A secondary purpose is to provide guidance and detail for implementation of the District's Floodplain Ordinance.
Five jurisdictions within Mohave County, Arizona participated in this planning effort, recognizing the consequences of disasters and the need to reduce the impacts of natural and human-caused hazards. This plan identifies hazard mitigation measures intended to eliminate or reduce the effects of future disasters throughout the county.
