Description
(Top photo) Dr. Nelson Fu is one of the most able physicians of China. He was trained in the British Missionary Hospital in Tingchow, Fukien Province in the south. He was a devout Christian, and remains a Christian today. In 1930 he joined the Red Army Medical Corps, was director of the Soviet Government Hospital in Shuikin, the Soviet capitol in Kiangsi (Jiangxi), went on the long march of over 8,000 miles from Kiangsi (Jiangxi) to the northwest, and is today director of the Government clinic in the Soviet capitol, Yenan (Yan'an). Description
This project, as part of Arizona State University's Community Outreach Partnership Center grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, examines the location of industry clusters in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. The objective is to find out if there are identifiable concentrations of industry in Phoenix's inner city areas.
