Description
Describes the regulations and laws concerning interracial marriage in Cuba, especially focused on minority groups. A Chinese settler asks permission to marry a freed black woman. The answer is that the permission is only needed if one of the two is considered white. As one is Chinese and the other black permission is not required by the law of 1805.
