A benchmark survey was conducted by MAG and ADOT in December of 2006 to determine initial attitudes and awareness of litter issues in Arizona and to evaluate littering behavior. A follow-up survey was then conducted in July 2008, at the end of the first two years of the campaign, to determine if any changes in awareness, attitudes or behavior were realized. Subsequent follow-up studies focused on Maricopa County residents.

An update to the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2030 (FRP30), to bring its Road Network Illustration (Map 25) into compliance with Arizona Revised Statute requirements and to resolve inconsistencies between Map 25 and parts of the Flagstaff City Code. This update does not alter the intent of FRP30; it is only concerned with correcting errors, removing legal vulnerability, and improving the readability of FRP30.

The proposed action is the construction and operation of a new multilane freeway in the metropolitan Phoenix area extending approximately 22 to 24 miles from Interstate 10 west of Phoenix to Interstate 10 southeast of Phoenix. The facility would be the final extension of State Route 202L, an element of the Maricopa Association of Governments’ adopted Regional Freeway and Highway System, as outlined in its Regional Transportation Plan.

This appropriations limit calculation includes a brief history of the appropriations limit, a step-by-step narration of the process used in computing the limit, and the detailed calculation of the appropriations limit. Pursuant to the law, both the Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting and the Joint Legislative Budget Committee staff are required to provide reports. However the ratio of actual appropriations or estimated appropriations to state personal income is likely to differ due to varying methodologies used by the two budget offices with respect to statutory appropriations. Statutory appropriations are grants of authority enacted by the Legislature and approved by the Governor that are continuous in nature and codified in the statutes. No authority is needed (e.g., in the annual appropriations bill) beyond the original enactment for monies to be expended.

This report documents the efforts of the Arizona Department of Transportation to implement the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials DARWin‐ME pavement design and rehabilitation guide. As part of this implementation, the research team also prepared a practical stand‐alone user’s guide that provides guidance for obtaining inputs, conducting design, and establishing the recommended pavement design.

The Mexican gray wolf subspecies was listed as endangered in 1976. In 1998 a nonessential experimental population was established in New Mexico and Arizona. Eleven captive-born and reared animals were released into the Blue Range Wolf Recovery Area. In June 2007, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service contracted with D.J. Case and Associates to assist in planning and implementing public input for a scoping process to identify issues to consider in developing alternatives preparatory to development of a new Environmental Impact Statement for the Mexican gray wolf introduction program.
