A membership certificate of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association in Cuba 古巴中华总会馆. According to the certificate, the name of the member is Wu Yudeng 伍于燈. He was a native of Taishan 台山 county of Guangdong 廣東 province. He was born on Nov. 8th, 1897. He had been a member since 1961, but his wife Huang Huilian 黃慧蓮 and son Wu Jingxing 伍景行 were still in his hometown.

Included in this selection are his baptism certificate, his personal ID card, letters of recommendation, and his original first contract, among several other documents. The first page in the collection is a written request for Antonio's permanent residence, and the final passage in the last page is the acceptance of his request. 1863.
