Homelessness, in most cases, is a temporary circumstance and not a permanent condition which makes homelessness difficult to quantify. Includes numbers of people served in various programs throughout geographically diverse regions of the state as well as comparisons with national data and research projects which have attempted to quantify the causes and impact of homelessness. It is intended to serve as an important resource for all stakeholders working to prevent and end homelessness.
