Description
This print is part of an early 20th century reissue of a series published in 1855. It depicts Mt. Fuji towering behind the slope of Mt. Ashitaka as seen from Hara in present day Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture. Hara was the 13th post station for travelers along the Tōkaidō Road between Edo (present-day Tokyo) and Kyoto.
