"Canto a la Argentina", 1910 March 24

The first page has the title "Canto a la Argentina" and Ruben Dario's name. Likewise the odd numbers have the written words "Canto..." as well as Ruben Dario's name.

On first page, after the title, is written the sentence "En memoria de Bartolomé Mitre, mi buen amigo, General y Ex-Presidente de Argentina" ("In memory of Bartolomé Mitre, my good friend, General and former President of Argentina").

Bartolomé Mitre (June 26, 1821 - January 18, 1906) was an Argentine soldier, politician and writer. He also was President of Argentina (1862 - 1868).

On the last page, after Rubén Darío's signature, is written a postscript: "Para la Nación, en ocasión de conmemorar el primer centenario de la independencia de Argentina, mi segunda Patria. Paris, Consulado de Nicaragua" ("For the Nation, on the occasion of commemorating the centenary of the independence of Argentina, my second homeland. Paris, Consulado de Nicaragua").
