Description
(Top photo) General Chang Tze-chung (Zhang Zizhong), commander of the 33rd Group Army and commander-in chief of the Chinese Right Wing during the offensive of 1939-40. He fell in action at the front in May, 1940. He is here seen thanking a "Consolation Group" of civilians from Kwangsi (Guangxi) Province who toured the front to bring greetings to the soldiers.
