The History of Arizona State University
Arizona State University was founded as the territorial normal school in 1885. This collection features photographs, documents, and audio and visual materials that chronicle the history of the institution. Additional materials include statistical lists and compilations of data for enrollment and building data.

Most data in these selections are historical rather than statistical, offering lists of board and university presidents, endowed chairs, college and school names over time, etc.
Steve Allen narrates this solicitation for support of the Arizona State University Alumni Association ca. 1965. The audio features Phoenix Symphony Orchestra and Sun Devil Marching Band music, the ASU College Bowl team, the announcement of Miss America Vonda Kay Van Dyke, Spanish professor Irma Wilson, and President G.
