U.S. Congressman Harry Mitchell Oral History Project
Video recordings of interviews with Congressman Harry Mitchell and six members of his Washington and Arizona staff. Interviews were conducted between December 2010 and April 2012 by Dr. David Berman of Arizona State University. Staff interviewees are Reed Adamson, Elizabeth Higgins, Chris Quigley, Robbie Sherwood, Alexis Tameron and Matt Weisman. Interviews with Mitchell, Higgins and Quigley were conducted in the historic Senator Carl T. Hayden Office at Hayden Library. The interview with Matt Weisman was conducted at the US House of Representatives studio in Washington DC. Support for this project was provided by the Luhrs Family Endowment.

Elizabeth Higgins, staffer for former Congressman Harry Mitchell, describes her experiences working for Mitchell during his time as an Arizona State legislator and as a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona's 5th congressional district.
