Hidden Meanings of Love and Death in Chinese Painting; Selections from the Marilyn and Roy Papp Collection
Marilyn and Roy Papp built an important collection of Chinese paintings, created between 1486 and 1894. They built the collection for twenty-five years, ultimately selecting about two hundred works representing the highest artistic expression of China’s Ming and Qing dynasties. This is a collaboration between ASU Libraries, the Phoenix Art Museum, The Papp Family, and ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
