Arizona State and Local Government Documents Collection
The State and Local Arizona Documents (SALAD) collection contains documents published by the State of Arizona, its Counties, incorporated Cities or Towns, or affiliated Councils of Government; documents produced under the auspices of a state or local agency, board, commission or department, including reports made to these units; and Salt River Project, a licensed municipality. ASU is a primary collector of state publications and makes a concerted effort to acquire and catalog most materials published by state and local governmental agencies.

The purpose of this Community Health Profile is to provide a factual basis for informing community decision-‐making regarding health and quality of life issues in Mohave County. It is one part of an overall initiative to identify, prioritize, and address health needs to ultimately improve health and quality of life in Mohave County.
Public health preparedness has been both an opportunity and a challenge for our department. These challenges have created a lot of extra work for public health professionals but they have also created a better system. It has given public health the opportunity to educate the public about our role in protection every day and during emergencies.
The purpose of the Drainage Design Manual for Mohave County is to supplement the Mohave County Land Division Regulations by providing minimum requirements and guidelines for addressing storm water issues associated with new and existing development. A secondary purpose is to provide guidance and detail for implementation of the District's Floodplain Ordinance.
This study is intended to assess flood risk, and identify flood hazards based on those risks, for the Beaver Dam area from the Beaver Dam Wash. The hydrologic and hydraulic results are intended for risk assessment and emergency management purposes only. The results of this study should not be considered as “best available technical information” for floodplain management purposes.”
The purpose of the Flood Response Plan is to reduce the potential for property damage and loss of life resulting from floods on the Beaver Dam Wash at the community of Beaver Dam. This report is intentionally short and concise to make it easily usable during a flood emergency.
Five jurisdictions within Mohave County, Arizona participated in this planning effort, recognizing the consequences of disasters and the need to reduce the impacts of natural and human-caused hazards. This plan identifies hazard mitigation measures intended to eliminate or reduce the effects of future disasters throughout the county.
The Arizona Department of Transportation directs control of impacts to stormwater via a Statewide Stormwater Management Plan, and a statewide stormwater individual permit. The Maintenance and Facilities Best Management Practices Manual is one component of this Plan.
This report is intended to provide useful information about the condition of the State Highway System in a format that is readily accessible to transportation professionals and non-professionals. This report was produced by the Planning Team of the Transportation Planning Division.
The Mohave County Local Emergency Planning Committee has prepared this plan in order to save lives and protect public health and property.
A primary objective of the plan is to help local governments, fire departments, and residents identify at-risk public and private lands to better protect those lands from severe wildfire threat. Additional functions of the plan are to improve fire prevention and suppression activities, as well as to identify funding needs and opportunities to reduce the risk of wildland fire and enhance public and firefighter safety.
