Arizona State and Local Government Documents Collection
The State and Local Arizona Documents (SALAD) collection contains documents published by the State of Arizona, its Counties, incorporated Cities or Towns, or affiliated Councils of Government; documents produced under the auspices of a state or local agency, board, commission or department, including reports made to these units; and Salt River Project, a licensed municipality. ASU is a primary collector of state publications and makes a concerted effort to acquire and catalog most materials published by state and local governmental agencies.
The ASU Digital Repository provides access to digital SALAD publications, however the ASU Libraries’ non-digitized Arizona documents can be searched through the ASU Libraries Catalog. For additional assistance, Ask A Government Documents Librarian.

The tuberculosis surveillance report provides data regarding TB rates in Maricopa County. Maricopa County Department of Public Health, Clinical Services Division, provides direct patient care for TB cases within Maricopa County.
All statistics were derived from data in the Arizona Department of Health Services final annual files. The information presented in this report includes data collected from Maricopa County residents during telephone survey interviews conducted by ADHS. Arizona residents from other counties were not included.
The Maricopa County Department of Public Health and the Maricopa County Department of Environmental Services work closely to educate and protect the residents of Maricopa County against West Nile Virus.
The year 2002 marked the largest outbreak to date in the world as the virus rapidly spread across the U.S. Maricopa County has been spared the burden of widespread WNV-illness thus far, however the area is home to a viable mosquito population, many species of migratory birds and a large human populace with a propensity for outdoor activities making arrival of the virus inevitable and advanced preparations invaluable.
The third of seven citizen reports to be prepared by Long Range Planning Staff to develop the Yuma County 2020 Comprehensive Plan. Meetings were held in 2008. CAG and Technical Advisory Committee members reviewed the goals, objectives and polices, and the following elements of the Yuma County 2010 Comprehensive Plan: Land Use Element--Dateland/East County Planning Area: Open Spaces & Recreational Resources.
Study in preparation for updating the Yuma County 2010 comprehensive plan, analyzing: Gadsden; community facilities; Hunter's Hole; soil types; farmland, irrigation, and soils; depth to groundwater; demographics; income; employment; occupations; housing; housing units; land ownership; land use designations; zoning district; rezoning 2000 to 2007; rezonings; and building/placement permits.
Study in preparation for updating the Yuma County 2010 Comprehensive Plan, analyzing: community facilities; new port of entry; State Route 195; climate and topography; vegetation; farm land and irrigation districts; Yuma Desert Flat-Tailed Horned Lizard management area; Bureau of Reclamation five-mile protective & regulatory zone; AUX-2 airfield noise zones; demographics; housing units; land ownership; land ownership and parcel size; land use designations; Barry M. Goldwater Range buffer area land use limitation; changes in land use designations; zoning districts; rezonings 2000 to 2007; and building/placement permits.
