Arizona State and Local Government Documents Collection
The State and Local Arizona Documents (SALAD) collection contains documents published by the State of Arizona, its Counties, incorporated Cities or Towns, or affiliated Councils of Government; documents produced under the auspices of a state or local agency, board, commission or department, including reports made to these units; and Salt River Project, a licensed municipality. ASU is a primary collector of state publications and makes a concerted effort to acquire and catalog most materials published by state and local governmental agencies.
The ASU Digital Repository provides access to digital SALAD publications, however the ASU Libraries’ non-digitized Arizona documents can be searched through the ASU Libraries Catalog. For additional assistance, Ask A Government Documents Librarian.

By establishing the District, the Arizona State Legislature created an entity charged with keeping county residents safe from flood hazards and established an independent funding source for essential projects. The District is a municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State of Arizona. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors doubles as the District's Board of Directors and receives counsel from the Flood Control Advisory Board comprised of county citizens.
CIP management requires the tracking of schedule and funding for all District capital projects, design project management, and construction project management. Project schedule and funding are subject to change as a result of changes in project cost, partner agencies' funding availability, public support and priority with respect to competing projects.
This network operates in the National Weather Service ALERT (Automated Local Evaluation in Real Time) format and is commonly referred to as an ALERT system, which uses automatic telemetry gages for data collection.

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has prepared this report on the health status of Arizona women to highlight its commitment to the health and wellness of all Arizonans throughout the lifespan and its focus on prevention. It is the intention that the data contained in this report will serve as a baseline and that, in future reports, we will see progress toward creating a healthier Arizona.
This brief includes mortality data with an underlying cause of death coded to ICD-10 codes X20-X29, and hospital discharge data coded to ICD-9 codes 905.0-905.9. The hospital discharge data only include information from private, acute-care facilities. Data from rehabilitation hospitals, urgent care centers, or federal facilities, including Indian Health Services or Veteran’s Administration facilities, are not available.
This report illustrates the public health burden associated with TBI in Arizona. Most TBI injuries are preventable. Understanding the risk factors associated with TBI is an important step toward educating and empowering communities to implement effective prevention strategies.
The data presented in this report show that poisoning is a public health problem that impacts the lives of thousands of Arizona residents each year. These injuries can occur throughout the life span, and like so many injuries, poisonings are predictable and preventable. As one of the largest Federal block grant programs, Title V is the key source of support for promoting and improving the health of all the nation‘s mothers and children. Each year, all states are required to submit an Application and Annual Report for Federal funds for their Maternal and Child Health Services Title V Block Grant to States Program to the Maternal and Child Health Bureau in the Health Resources and Services Administration.
