Arizona State and Local Government Documents Collection
The State and Local Arizona Documents (SALAD) collection contains documents published by the State of Arizona, its Counties, incorporated Cities or Towns, or affiliated Councils of Government; documents produced under the auspices of a state or local agency, board, commission or department, including reports made to these units; and Salt River Project, a licensed municipality. ASU is a primary collector of state publications and makes a concerted effort to acquire and catalog most materials published by state and local governmental agencies.
The ASU Digital Repository provides access to digital SALAD publications, however the ASU Libraries’ non-digitized Arizona documents can be searched through the ASU Libraries Catalog. For additional assistance, Ask A Government Documents Librarian.

This report, required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration provides an update of highway safety projects throughout the state of Arizona during the Federal Fiscal Year as administered by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
The Office of Highway Safety produces the annual Highway Safety Plan to serve as the implementation guide for highway safety projects throughout Arizona. The Plan also is an application for funding through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Project selection is data driven and utilizes state and national traffic safety data (e.g., crashes, fatalities, injuries, citations, etc.). Knowledge of the Arizona political, economic, and demographic environments, as well as highway safety expertise on the part of staff and other partners also are taken into account where appropriate.
An analysis of housing in Yuma, Arizona, to profile demographics and employment, review public housing policies, examine fair housing complaints and lending practices for housing, and develop an action plan for Yuma to address impediments to fair housing choice.
The Forum participants were assigned to six “break-out” discussion groups, where they engaged in facilitated dialogues with assigned content experts. Groups identified and endorsed a sufficient number of best practices. This report highlights the major points of consensus within each discussion. Whenever possible, the divergent perspectives and opinions expressed during the sessions were included.
The federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program was established to encourage construction and rehabilitation of low-income rental housing. The Qualified Allocation Plan describes the purposes and requirements for this program.
The Arizona Department of Housing was established in 2002 to provide housing and community revitalization to benefit the people of Arizona. Information Bulletins on a wide variety of topics are issued irregularly throughout the year and cumulated annually.
